For our R&D Electricals Department in Siemens Wind Power in Brande, Denmark we are looking for an experienced Project Manager who will be responsible for electrical solutions in connection with development projects. The R&D Electricals Department is responsible for the design and operation of electrical hardware installed in our wind turbines, and you will be part of a global R&D Department with 750 highly skilled specialists, project managers and managers, the majority of which are based in Brande. What are my responsibilities? · Managing the development and implementation of electrical hardware for given solutions in close cooperation with a technical solution owner and up to 20 project members · Responsible for the quality of the department’s deliverables and for meeting relevant deadlines · Ensuring alignment across departments/modules to ensure priorities and deliveries · Working closely together with technical solution owners and Electricals’ chief engineer · Being responsible for project budgets · Being responsible for project planning, executions and reporting · Ensuring that agreed services are delivered on time and in the right quality · Playing an important role as the department’s ambassador towards other departments and stakeholders What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have an education within electrical or marine engineering, combined with some years of experience with project management involving electrical solutions or components · You have a structured approach to your assignments and are able to handle project changes occurring in a dynamic R&D environment · You are an excellent planner and also used to networking and creating strong relations · You possess strong communication and English skills, both orally and in writing In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
