Supply Chain Planning / Global Transport Equipment You will join a team of 2 who are planning and controlling transport equipment for wind turbine projects globally. The department is placed in Global Transport under Supply Chain Planning with interface to and cooperation with the entire Vestas value chain. Global Transport Equipment is responsible to ensure on time delivery of transport equipment globally to support our production locations and to ensure delivery of our wind turbines to the lowest possible cost. We are a very ambitious department striving to keep our leading position in the industry, meaning; continued improvement is part of our DNA. We see opportunities and NO is not in our vocabulary. Responisibilities Define and implement technologies and processes for track and trace of transport equipment globally Run continual improvement projects related to transport equipment Participate in the development of equipment for new turbines Take part in the daily planning and forecasting of transport equipment requirements Be a great coworker who contributes to an environment where we pull together Qualifications +3 years of experience from a supply chain function within production or international logistics/transportation company Experience in driving optimization projects and stakeholder management Experience with business process mapping Excellent communications skills in English, both spoken and written Good skills within Microsoft Office package and ERP-systems (SAP and/or Mapics) Competencies Strong analytical approach, being able to comprehend complex solutions and communicate these in a holistic manner Systematic and result oriented Ability to interact with colleagues at all levels in- and outside the organization Flexible and thrive working in a busy and growing environment You are always able to find the right direction to reach the goal with your can do attitude!
