Then you might be our new Project Manager within Novo Nordisk, CMC API Business Support. About the department API Business Support is part of Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) Supply within the Novo Nordisk Research & Development organisation; developing, manufacturing and distributing drug candidates for pre- and clinical trials. CMC API Development is located in the front-end of the CMC Supply value chain, and has approx. 450 employees. We are a development unit focusing on process development and pilot scale production of active pharmaceutical ingredient (API), and are a link between research and market production units. API Business Support consists of 13 dedicated diverse employees of which half is responsible for project management of complex GMP investment projects. We are ambitious and constantly strive for excellence. The job As Project Manager you will be responsible for driving designated GMP investment projects through our strict governance model. You will be responsible for the implementation of facility upgrades, new equipment, overhauls and improvements, including full qualification and documentation packages. You will be a part of a small cross-functional project management team that excel in managing projects and are motivated by the challenge of improvements. Typically, you will manage projects in collaboration with external suppliers, engineering partners, technical production staff and senior management. You will ensure progress, project reporting, risk mitigation, and managing complex changes when we rebuild or optimise equipment in our facilities. In all of your work you will ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements and never compromise on quality. In connection with e.g. FAT or audits you can foresee some yearly travel days (10-20 days). Qualifications You have completed a relevant Master’s Degree (engineering or similar technical background), or you have another technical background that qualifies you for this challenge. Ideally, you have minimum 5 years of experience from similar complex project management responsibilities within the GMP-regulated industry. You are ambitious with a high level of drive, initiative and persistency. You are result-oriented and like to be challenged. You excel at navigating in an environment with many stakeholders and facilitating cross organisational collaborations. You must have a positive “can-do” attitude that you can apply to your project team and you are always prepared to adapt to a fast moving environment. Ultimately, you are a strong communicator capable of preparing clear and concise top-down communication material for Senior Management and steering groups.
