About the department
We are around 275 employees in Corporate Facilities based in Bagsværd, Hillerød, Måløv and Kalundborg. We drive strategic facility management in Denmark and are responsible for safeguarding, sustaining and continuously optimising Novo Nordisk property.

The job is placed in the department of Corporate Facilities Projects in Bagsværd which consists of 12 dedicated employees. The main responsibility of the department is construction projects, relocation projects, contact with authorities and local management, as well as the development and establishment of office facilities and general space management.

The working environment is relaxed and welcoming. We are very aware of supporting each other, and even though many of your colleagues will be looking your way for answers, you will not be on your own with either challenges or victories.

The position 
Your task will be to identify, plan and manage different types of construction projects as well as relocations by ensuring progress, quality and compliance with budget. Stakeholder management is a significant part of the job as we work with facilities that affect many colleagues and we also have activities that have intersections with our production facilities.

The projects will be of varying size and you should expect to run many projects in different phases simultaneously. This will be done in close collaboration with the operating departments and local service centers that will see you as the go-to person in terms of smoothly moving from project to operation.

We are generally driven by data and also very fact-based in our approach to our work and we take pride in communicating clearly and accurately. This is also expected of your budgets, presentations, project abstractJV_descriptions and the other material you work with.

Besides the project management you will also be supporting the department in planning and managing project meetings, tracking of actions etc.

Qualifications
You have an education as a construction engineer or architect and you have min. 5 years of relevant experience. You are experienced with managing construction projects; you have the flair for budgeting and managing projects economics as well as working structurally and analytically with your tasks. You do well in communicating in Danish and English, both orally and in writing.

You are proactive and you are able to take initiative. You thrive in working independently as well as in collaboration with others, also across professions and geography. You are able to handle multiple projects at a time, you keep the overview in pressured situations and you are able to come up with solutions. You are energetic, result-oriented and persistent, even when the tasks become complex and you experience some resistance.

As a person you are very trustworthy and you are used to manage stakeholders in different levels in the organisation.
