In Strategic Sourcing Business Support you will play an important role in Strategic Sourcing delivering on its core responsibilities. About the department Strategic Sourcing is a central sourcing unit in Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply division, responsible for strategic sourcing activities which secure medium and long term supply to Novo Nordisk’s production sites worldwide. These activities include category strategy development, global supplier base identification, negotiation and contract mangement and strategic collaboration with suppliers. In Business Support we drive cross-unit projects and act as facilitators and experts in value-adding recurring activities around risk, quality and financial reporting and management, as well as responsible sourcing, cost modelling, supply market intelligence. All these activities are performed in support to the other 5 departments in Strategic Sourcing. Joining the Business Support team, you will enter a fast-paced and ambitious environment where we collaborate closely with stakeholders inside as well as outside Novo Nordisk. You will be located in Bagsværd where 10 competent colleagues look forward to welcoming you to the Business Support team. The job Your main role is to drive a number of internal and cross-functional processes and projects. The role extends to support of the Corporate Vice President and the Management team in providing essential presentations and analysis, which they can rely on in their decision-making and communication. A core area of involvement will likely be Strategic Sourcing’s activity portfolio within supply risk management, which includes defining and facilitating objective assessment of supply risk, facilitation of reflection on specific risk types, and reporting of key risks and mitigating actions. Other areas of involvement – as lead or buddy to colleagues in our team - may include Responsible Sourcing, management of supply market analytics, or other processes or projects in the Business Support team’s pipeline. You can anticipate varied working days with many different tasks and numerous stakeholders. The job requires an equal amount of ability to perform academic reflection to develop your area of responsibility as well as extrovert stakeholder management skills to secure Strategic Sourcing’s continued strong execution within the area. Qualifications You hold a Master’s degree in International Business, Economics or similar, supplemented with minimum 5 years’ experience from a similar position or as management consultant. You have acquired sharp analytical skills, experience with strategy development and excellent project management skills. To drive your many processes and projects successfully, you need a structured approach and a mind focused on execution and results. You are extrovert and possess solid networking skills which enable you to navigate with impact among various stakeholders. You are a proficient communicator who is comfortable presenting to steering groups or management teams. Last but not least, you have solid English language skills in speech and in writing.
