Lyngby / Local / Operations / Ref.: MD-062985 In Maersk Drilling we are on the lookout for a Project Manager who can lead and facilitate projects focusing on improving our drilling operations creating value for us and our customers. You can look forward to an inspiring international environment in an engaged team. We Offer You will become one of two Project Managers in a team of 20 dedicated and result oriented team members. The team plays a key role in executing Maersk Drilling’s strategy of delivering added value to our customers by operating our rigs more efficiently than competitors and by offering services that go beyond what is typically the case in the industry. You get to travel 30-45 days annually and work with rig teams, our customers and offshore colleagues around the world. Not only will you get a central role by working in the heart of operations, you will also be in a position where you can influence and further develop the way we work. You will work from our head office in Lyngby. The successful performer will after a couple of years have opportunities to advance in Maersk Drilling’s growing organisation. Compensation will match your experience and skills. Key Responsibilities As Project Manager you will: 1. Lead complex projects that aim at waste reduction in our core operational processes. 2. Drive business perspective in a technical environment and increase value for our customers. 3. Manage complexity with technical equipment and operational IT data and infrastructure. 4. Interact with senior stakeholders onshore and offshore to ensure project progress and value creation is sustained. 5. Together with operational leaders interact with customers and service providers to realise business value of initiatives to be implemented. 6. Coach onshore and offshore organisation in project management and ensure high quality business value is generated and best practises are shared and utilized. Who we are looking for The ideal candidate will have: 1. Proven track-record as project manager that has delivered significant value creation in complex and technical environments. You should preferably be certified as Lean Green Belt, PRINCE2 or similar. 2. Process improvement experience (Lean, Six Sigma). 3. Experience with building business cases and project justification. 4. Experience with business analytics and relevant IT infrastructure. 5. The ability to engage with people at many levels, with many backgrounds. 6. Offshore oil industry experience is a plus, but not a requirement.
