This is an independent and vital role, where you engage with stakeholders across multiple large-scope industrial projects to establish long-term relations and maximise their ongoing performance. Detailed Description Enable plant operations teams across the globe The O&M project manager will be the link and key interface between the local FLSmidth Operations and maintenance teams and the various department in our global headquarters. More specifically you get to manage a global portfolio comprised of various projects, to ensure that FLSmidth’s O&M agreements are complied with to the full satisfaction of the customer and in accordance with the signed contracts and fixed budgets. Additionally you: · Become the a key coordinator for all technical, commercial and contractual issues, including administrative and financial tasks in connection to the projects · Manage stakeholders to ensure good customer relations · Follow up on budgets, production and dispatch figures, just as you follow up on our supply chain and initiate optimisation projects · Support local Country Operation Managers on technical, financial and procurement issues · Leverage your experience in developing markets and with complex contractual agreements to assess existing set-up and apply best practice recommendations. · Support local organisations and travel to sites. Job Requirements Skilled Project Manager with heavy industry experience · Bachelor or Master of Science degree or the equivalent knowledge acquired in whatever way · You have strong people skills and a drive to create interdepartmental relationships, streamlining business processes and contributing to business results. · You have 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in an international environment with a proven successful track-record within heavy industrial markets · You are fluent in a recognised project delivery method (Prince2, PMI) · You have a good contractual understanding and experience with client relations, just as you have a proven understanding of risk and how to mitigate it. · You are comfortable working and communicating across cultures, functions and different levels in an organisation and speak and write English fluently. Additionally, your people skills are second-to-none and you know how to break down barriers and create strong business relationships. You have been responsible for a portfolio of projects, displaying the ability to move between projects and quickly gain an understanding of issues and priorities as a self-motivated and flexible team player that guarantees your success.
