Then you might be the new Project Manager for Operational Readiness. [Technology & Service Solutions Platform Management Operational Readiness & Certification Operational Readiness Vestas Technology & Services Solutions (TSS) is where new product ideas or technologies are matured, developed, tested and improved. To put it short TSS is the cornerstone of Vestas and we are shaping the future of modern energy. TSS is anchored in a central position within Vestas Wind Systems A/S Operational readiness is a department within Technology & Services Solutions and we are looking for a project manager that will be part of the overall operational readiness of new WTG introductions and the operational performance of the existing fleet. Responsibilities: As Operational Readiness Project Manager your key responsibilities and tasks will be: Establish and maintain close working relationships with the Business Units and within Technology and Service Solutions Provide prompt support in addressing issues affecting installation, commissioning and operation of new turbines Initiate and drive corrective actions for changes in turbine design, documentation and software aimed at addressing faults and improving turbine performance Manage technical projects of different level of complexity in virtually all TSS areas, together with the relevant technical specialists Coordinate meetings and conference calls to enable resolution of issues and facilitate knowledge sharing throughout the Vestas organization Interact with the field to ensure that all feedback about turbine design, documentation, tools, spare parts, transport, installation and service procedures is collected and actioned to reflect best practice Constantly monitor LPF ( Lost Production Factor) and drive it down on a global basis Work closely with SBUs (Sales Business Unit), with Construction, Transportation, Service organizations and all TSS departments to carry out all tasks above. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 3-5 years experience (preferably in the wind industry) Project or program management experience Familiarity with Vestas systems and processes, ECM (Engineer Change Management), CIM (Continuous improvement management), VWtM (Vestas Way To Market) Service, Operations or TSS related background preferred High level of experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Excellent communication skills in English Competencies: The successful candidate: Must be a self-starter with a strong bias towards results Have a high sense of urgency Be result oriented and be proactive / persistent until results are achieved Are able to work in a fast paced environment and with limited information Are a high-functioning team member and an effective team leader Must be able to establish relationships across functions to ensure successful platform launches Are able to handle multiple priorities in a cross-functional environment Should be comfortable operating in an environment with limited formal authority and decentralized decision power Are an effective communicator both written and spoken and should be comfortable presenting to all levels of the organization What we offer: We offer a job in a project-oriented organisation with excellent opportunities for cross-disciplinary and personal development, where emphasis is placed on the right balance between creativity and quality in all solutions.
