Technology & Service Solutions > Platform Management > Product Incidents, Perf. & Certification Vestas Technology & Services Solutions (TSS) is where new product ideas or technologies are matured, developed, tested and improved. To put it short TSS is the cornerstone of Vestas and we are shaping the future of modern energy. Product Performance is a department within Technology & Services Solutions and we are looking for a project manager that will be part of the overall Product Performance of new WTG introductions and the operational performance of the existing fleet. Responsibilities As Product Performance Project Manager your key responsibilities and tasks will be: Responsible for the product performance following up of new product types. Ensuring that projects delivered relevant to Product Performance is in alignment with the agreed deadline. Establish and maintain close working relationships with the Business Units and within TSS. Provide support regarding issues affecting installation, commissioning and operation of new turbines. Initiate and drive corrective actions for changes in turbine design, documentation and software aimed at addressing faults and improving turbine performance. Manage technical projects of different level of complexity in virtually all TSS areas Interact with the SBU’s to ensure that all feedback about turbine design, documentation, tools, spare parts, transport, installation and service procedures is collected and actioned. Constantly monitor LPF ( Lost Production Factor) and drive it down on a global basis Work closely with SBUs (Sales Business Unit), with Construction, Transportation, Service organizations and all TSS departments to carry out all tasks above. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience (preferably in the wind industry). High level of experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Project or program management experience. Familiarity with Vestas systems and processes, ECM (Engineering Change Management), CIM (Continuous improvement management), VWtM (Vestas Way To Market). Service, Operations, or TSS related background preferred. Competencies You must be a self-starter with a strong bias towards results. Have a high sense of urgency. Result oriented and be proactive / persistent until results are achieved. You are able to work in a fast paced environment and with limited information. You are a high-functioning team member and an effective team leader. You must be able to establish relationships across functions to ensure successful platform launches. You are able to handle multiple priorities in a cross-functional environment. You should be comfortable operating in an environment with limited formal authority and decentralized decision power. You are an effective communicator both written and spoken and should be comfortable presenting to all levels of the organization.
