Job-Link is looking for a Project Manager for one of our customers in Lyngby. Our customer is a world leader in the design of hydrotreaters and hydrocrackers for ultra-low Sulphur diesel and provides outstanding catalysts. The company’s business model is based on a thorough and fundamental understanding of all aspects of technologies and are known for delivering high quality service to their clients.

Our customer has a significant engagement within the refinery area supplying license, engineering and catalysts. In support of this business the company has developed a strong global position in supplying reactor internals for various hydrotreating processes helping to enhance the performance and efficiency of the customers’ refineries. We offer a position as Project Manager for projects covering design, manufacturing and site installation of these internals.

The project manager will be employed in the Project Management Department, which is part of the Engineering Production Unit with approximately 500 employees in Denmark and India executing projects for our customers world wide. The Project Management Department with 50 employees consists of Project Directors, Project Managers, Planners and other support functions.

You will in your job as Project Manager work in close contact with colleagues in the dedicated design group, the project management department and in the sales and marketing departments.

Your responsibilities

As project manager you are responsible for the projects in terms of budget and time schedule. You

• are the prime contact with the customers
• make agreements with our vendors and follow-up on their progress
• are responsible for planning and for meeting deadlines
• are ensuring daily coordination of resources
• are responsible for budgeting and reporting
• are ensuring that lessons learnt are utilized for future projects.

You

Qualifications

You have a background as mechanical, chemical or process engineer and probably you have experience in project management. You have an understanding of having the customers in focus and of the importance of building relations to stake holders.
