Description Description/job function summary: Radiometers business is growing at a rapid pace. This requires a significant amount of molded components supplied to Radiometers factories around the world. In order to continue our growth Radiometer is looking to strengthen our tooling/molding group based in the global supply chain organization. Main job focus will be supporting our growing business with plastic components of high quality. This primarily via capacity expansion and cost projects, maintenance and upgrades of existing molding equipment or as a value adding participant in new product development programs. Radiometers Global Supply Chain organization constantly focuses on delivering the world’s best blood-gas equipment starting from the smallest sub supplier into hospitals in currently 132 countries around the world. Hardcore skills: •M. Sc. or B. Sc. Engineering or similar •Experience with development and maintenance of injection molding equipment (primarily plastic, but also extrusions and metal molding) •Has a solid understanding of design for manufacturing of plastic and rubber parts for both low and high volume production •Solid polymer knowledge •Solid experience with validation and part/equipment approval within medical industry •Experience with or knowledge of manufacturing for medical industry, DS/EN ISO 13485, FDA-regulated business and constantly being in compliance •Understanding of post molding value adding process: automatic assembly, gluing, laser welding, painting and other decoration processes •Fluent English: written and spoken Soft skills: •Able to handle multiple time critical projects and still keep a high spirit •Meeting and action management ensuring project traction in a complex organization •Constantly looking for opportunities to optimize and improve the processes we work according to •Comfortable navigating in a multi stakeholder environments •Proven track record of building win-win relationships with suppliers and other partners •Willingness to travel app. 10% of the time We offer you A unique opportunity to work in the field of medical technologies, where knowledge sharing and professional respect combine to make it both fun and meaningful to go to work.
