About Corporate Accounting
Corporate Accounting is a unit within Corporate Finance at Novo Nordisk. The area comprises three departments responsible for external financial reporting for the group, internal financial controls compliance (including Sarbanes Oxley) and payroll for all Danish employees. Corporate Accounting holds approximately 40 people in total. 

 

The position
In the role as Project Manager you will report directly to the Corporate Vice President (CVP) of Corporate Accounting and be part of the Corporate Accounting Management team. You will be responsible for driving an array of day-to-day deliverables and for supporting key decision processes. 

You will be an instrumental partner to the CVP, e.g. preparing agendas and meeting material, following up on actions, planning off-sites and unit meetings, coordinating Audit Committee material. The role also includes preparation of ad hoc presentations for various internal and external events. Finally, you are expected to help drive strategic projects and manage ad hoc tasks on behalf of the CVP. 

The job offers frequent management interaction, cross-functional and international collaboration. Through your work you will be exposed to many different parts of Novo Nordisk, building a strong network across the company.

 

Qualifications
You are expected to hold an academic degree in business or management and have at least 5 years practical experience from preferable a large international company. Furthermore, strong stakeholder management skills and experience with preparing PowerPoint presentations are key capabilities to succeed in the role.

It is important that you feel comfortable in handling numerous tasks simultaneously and can effectively deliver on a wide variety of assignments in a challenging, always rapidly changing and international environment. 

You are fluent in both written and spoken English on a professional level and ready to invest time and effort in your personal and professional development.
