Lead global product and drug substance transfer projects

You will join 8 competent and dedicated colleagues in our project management team in Global Product Supply – 6 and you based at the LEO Pharma HQ in Ballerup, Greater Copenhagen and 2 in Dublin. Our overall focus is to lead complex product and drug substance transfers between sites, and we do it in a working environment characterised be helpfulness and positive team spirit. We work across pipeline projects, new product introductions and Life Cycle Management projects. If things turn out as planned, your first project will be related to integrating a product portfolio acquired from Bayer into the LEO Pharma production set-up including taking over a new factory in Segrate, Italy. Your primary tasks will be to:

• Establish and lead project teams and Steering Committees
• Prepare project briefs, project plans, reporting, and handle meetings and follow up’s
• Coordinate project activities and secure that decision documents are prepared for diligent decision making
• Establish and maintain manufacturing and supply strategy documents for new products in development
• Ensure the necessary investments for establishment of commercial production
• Coordinate evaluation of new business opportunities coming from Business Development

As part of the general transformation in LEO Pharma we have a high focus on developing new, global best practise standards and tools. As such, you will contribute to our on-going quest for project management excellence. All your ideas are very welcome and appreciated no matter the subject. You can look for to travelling 20-30 days per year to meet colleagues and partners, primarily in Europe.

Project management experience from pharma

You have a Master’s degree within natural science backed by project management experience from a pharma environment that has provided you with GMP knowledge. As Project Manager you are naturally highly structured. At the same time it is important that you can thrive in an environment where the only constant is change, and where we do not have SOP’s for everything imaginable. If you haven’t already got a project management certification you are ready to invest the necessary time and energy to acquire it (funded by LEO).

To succeed, you will need a strong drive for results and the ability to motivate team members in a positive and inspiring way. As part of this you have strong communication skills and with your open-minded approach and cross cultural understanding you can get people to prioritise your agenda – and you can do it across geographical, professional and cultural borders. Additionally, you know how to navigate in a complex organisational landscape with multiple agendas and stakeholders.
