Copenhagen Local / International Reservoir/Petroleum Engineering Ref.: MO-049736 The DanGorm Project Maturation and Studies Team Lead works within the DanGorm subsurface team to deliver the hydrocarbon maturation projects and studies for the DanGorm Asset portfolio in DBU. This is a high profile team lead position and is a key part of the DanGorm Subsurface Leadership team reporting directly to the DanGorm Subsurface Asset Lead. The subsurface team comprises 4 focussed teams addressing Project Maturation and Studies, WRFM (x2) and Well Delivery. Activity levels are high, both in terms of studies on a diverse portfolio of fields, maturation and delivery of drill wells, identification of well optimisation opportunities, delivery of workovers and optimisation of daily production. We Offer The DanGorm Project Maturation and Studies Team Lead will take business ownership of the DanGorm hydrocarbon maturation and studies portfolio and will drive the business including project maturation, static/dynamic modelling, business planning across a portfolio of challenging reservoirs and complex fields taking a life of field perspective. The maturity of the fields, combined with the geological complexity and development history, makes implementation of effective well and reservoir management a critical business activity. New 4D seismic data are available for all fields and Ocean Bottom Node seismic over Dan. These data sets will be used to optimise field recovery going forward. We are hence able to offer a unique opportunity to influence the development of a very mature field in an international environment with highly skilled and motivated colleagues. Key Responsibilities The DanGorm Project Maturation and Studies Team Lead is based in Copenhagen and will have direct responsibility for a team of ~14 subsurface professionals covering Geophysics, Geology, Petrophysics and Reservoir Engineering. You will interface closely with the Asset Team, Corporate Petroleum Engineering, Drilling & Production and Projects & Engineering functions and the ability to integrate between teams functions enabling strong delivery is critical. The candidate will have a critical cross Asset team technical assurance role and be a driver of quality. Some of your primary tasks will be: •Business ownership of hydrocarbon maturation and studies for the DanGorm Asset •Provide leadership for complex integrated modelling studies covering all aspects of subsurface disciplines with fully integrated utilisation of 4D seismic •Lead technology development and innovation within complex field settings •Project Manager for selected projects and outsourced studies •Manage studies budget of ~30 MMDKK per annum •Leadership of ~14 technical professionals •Mentoring and training of less experienced staff •Lead and mentoring with business processes as reserves and business planning •Build and maintain relationship with MOG corporate petroleum technology •Manage people processes, including recruitment for the team Who we are looking for The successful candidate will have a proven track record in leading an integrated project team to successful delivery of complex integrated modelling studies and maturation of projects through the PMP process. You will be experienced in mature field development with an in-depth practical understanding of: • Static and dynamic reservoir modelling of complex fractured reservoirs • Integration and utilisation of 4D seismic data • Delivery of hydrocarbon maturation projects through the PMP process • Delivery of outsourced studies • Technical assurance and quality improvement initiatives • Business processes such as reserves estimation and business planning • Development and leadership of a highly competent technical team You will be experienced in decision making and provide clear leadership when faced with ambiguity and complexity.
