LEO Pharma is looking for an ambitious and experienced project planning manager to support and drive the planning and execution of the integration of a global product portfolio recently acquired.  You will become a central member of the Integration Management Office working with and supporting members across all functions all levels of the LEO organization to ensure we unlock on the value of the acquisition that is an integral part of the LEO Pharma 2025 strategy.

LEO Pharma has embarked on a growth journey to become the preferred dermatology care partner in the world, dedicated to help people achieve healthy skin. We have recently introduced our 2025 strategy, which aims to accelerate our efforts within innovative therapeutics while strengthening our established portfolio and global footprint in medical dermatology.  

In support of this strategy, LEO Pharma recently entered into an agreement with Bayer AG to acquire their global portfolio of medical dermatology products. The acquisition is the second largest in LEO Pharma’s more than 100-year history and is estimated to increase LEO Pharma’s annual turnover by approximately 20%. To lead and coordinate the integration of this portfolio across the entire organization, an Integration Management Office has been established, which consists of 7 people in integration management and planning, finance, legal and communication.

Objectives

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and owning the project planning framework for the project overall and across the individual workstreams. You will work proactively with the various functions to drive alignment and take ownership of the effective coordination across workstreams and multiple stakeholders, both upwards and down in the organization, as well as ensuring adherence to deliverables and deadlines in the integration. 

You will report directly to the Vice President in the Integration Management Office and be based at LEO Pharma’s headquarters in Ballerup, Denmark, near Copenhagen. The role will include some travel activities.

All in all your responsibilities will be to:  

• Establish and maintain integration project plans across the overall project organization and work streams
• Develop and ensure standard project reporting processes and execution to inform both project teams, Bayer counterparts and senior level stakeholder groups
• Clearly identify critical interfaces and dependencies, and take ownership of ensuring such are effectively anchored within either workstreams or the Integration Management Office
• Proactively identify and drive resolution of key issues/risks that can potentially complicate or obstruct progress and Day-1 readiness
• Perform analysis of potential project implications and solutions
• Facilitate workshops where necessary to drive cross-functional alignment and potential issue resolution
• Support change management initiatives across the project to facilitate a successful implementation

Requirements

To take on the role successfully, we expect you to bring:  

• University degree and between 3-5 years in of experience working hands-on with project planning and coordination in a corporate or consulting role, which enables you to break down and structure a global and complex project
• Preferably experience from the pharmaceutical industry
• Demonstrate good business understanding
• Strong drive and is adept at working with targets and tight time lines in an international environment
• Enjoys and contributes to an atmosphere of fun, high energy and dedication
• Is strong in building internal relations
• Has good skills in English, both written and spoken
