About the department Device Manufacturing Development (DMD) is a project organisation comprising of more than 250 dedicated employees striving to make us the best manufacturing development partner of medical devices including packing and transportation processes. Our dedication is to build superior quality into our devices. Our challenge is to execute an increasing portfolio of diverse projects in a complex, international and highly regulated area. DMD Business Support is situated in Hillerød near Copenhagen and responsible for business processes such as Strategy, Finance, Project Portfolio Management, Quality, IT, Training and Lean and we are looking for an ambitious Project Portfolio Manager to join the team. The position As a Project Portfolio Manager in Business Support, you will drive a wide range of cross-organisational projects and processes from a-z within our business support including being responsible for some of our project portfolios focusing on product maintenance of commercialised medical devices. You will continuously support, improve and develop the business processes in the business unit, and serve as a sparring partner for project managers and management. This role also extends to supporting the Management team as to providing essential analyses they can rely on in their decision-making. You can anticipate varied working days with many different tasks and numerous stakeholders. All in all, you can look forward to an extrovert position where your work will have the Management’s attention. Qualifications You hold a Master’s degree in Economics, Engineering or similar, supplemented with 3-5 years’ experience from a similar position. You have sharp analytical skills and excellent project management skills. As a person you work independently but are still a dedicated team player. Your colleagues know you as a proficient communicator who masters the discipline of storytelling. In addition, you characterise yourself as a flexible person with an unmistakably high level of drive and a mind focused on execution and results. You also have an extrovert attitude and solid networking skills enabling you to navigate among various stakeholders. Last but not least, you communicate fluently in written and spoken English.
