About the department

Local Manufacturing is a fast paced and growing international area with locations in Denmark, Russia, Iran, Algeria, India and Bangladesh. We collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure patients across the world have access to our products. Our department in Denmark is responsible for coordinating our international activities and ensuring alignment and support to ongoing projects.

 

Local Manufacturing is part of Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply organization responsible for Novo Nordisk’s local manufacturing projects world-wide. The position

You will be anchored in the Projects & Business Development department, which is responsible for managing all local manufacturing projects with varying complexity. The key responsibility is to support the project organization in developing, maintaining and analyzing time schedules and resource plans.

 

As Project & Portfolio Planner, your responsibility will include following tasks:

• Carry out progress updates and forecast and communicate accordingly
• Ensure alignment between project work package schedules and key milestones
• Review supplier time schedules and ensure compliance with the overall project schedules
• Establish overview of the resource demand across the project portfolio
• Use your skills and insights to support management decision-making within the projects
• Ensure that best practice is documented and implemented

 

Qualifications

You hold an academic degree (Bachelor or Master) in Engineering or similar and have 3-5 years of experience within project and portfolio planning by driving planning solutions and projects on an operational and/or strategic level. We favor that your experience within project management has been of a certain complexity and with a broad stakeholder landscape preferably in an international environment. It is an advantage if you have experience with the pharmaceutical industry or similar production environment.

 

On a personal level, you are motivated by optimization and continuous improvements. You have excellent networking, negotiation and communication skills, enabling you to continuously establish solid working relations cross-functionally and you know how to adapt to multicultural environments. You can communicate at all levels of the organization.
 

Furthermore, you have solid planning skills enabling you to keep an overview of the state of progress and prioritize accordingly so you deliver high quality within deadlines. You have a strong personal drive enabling you to persistently pursue your goals and achieve results. You can challenge the business with an open mindset and confidence. The knowledge you have is easily transferred into clear objectives and plans.

 

To succeed in the role, you are expected to be self driven and with a solid business understanding combined with strong analytical skills. Fluency in both written and spoken English is expected.
