For our Onshore Project Procurement CSM & UNA (UK, Northern Europe, APAC & Central Europe, Southern Europe, MEA regions), we are looking for an experienced Project Procurement Manager to start at the earliest opportunity. The position is located in Brande and the department reports to the Business Administration function of Wind Power & Renewables - Onshore. The Project Procurement function is responsible for the global project commodities transport and crane and installation services. This includes the coordination and management of a cross-functional commodity team with Project Management and Supplier Quality in order to achieve optimum conditions and savings through collaborative, target oriented activities as well as the definition of an optimum sourcing strategy for the material field, communication of the strategy to relevant departments and securing its implementation in order to achieve maximum contribution to profit and business objectives. Furthermore the Project Procurement function implements and improves methods, processes and systems for the project procurement manager function in Wind Power, and establishes best practice exchanges between the market unit Project Procurement Managers. What are my responsibilities? · Responsibility and coordination of procurement activities in Wind Power Onshore projects including tendering and subcontracting of e.g. site facilities, civil works, transportation services (sea and road transport) as well as crane and installation services for wind power onshore projects · Lead tender and awarding processes for project specific demands in close collaboration with the project team, engineering and the respective commodity manager · Definition and implementation of negotiation concepts and strategies · Inclusion of an international supplier base, coordination with internal interface partners from engineering and project management · Involvement of the procurement organization and the segment/business unit management to align on the awarding and negotiation strategy · Preparation, execution and moderation of negotiations including contracting in close collaboration with interface partners and the usage of Advanced Negotiation Concepts · Ensure that customer requirements are integrated back-to-back into the supplier offers and contracts respectively · Facilitation of information exchange between commodity management and interface partners from the project What do I need to qualify for this job? · A university degree in industrial engineering and management or similar · Several years of experience in procurement functions, preferably in project procurement or relevant cross functions · Profound knowledge of contract law and negotiation competencies, especially in international business relationships · Good technical and commercial knowledge as well as with regards to quality and processes · Willingness to travel · Great communication, collaboration and influencing skills and fluency in English – orally as well as in writing · As a person, you are motivated by driving cross organizational initiatives focused on business results and customer value.
