Then join our Supply Chain Development & Optimization team in this role at Project Track Lead.

The job

You will take part in our Boxster project, which is about integrating a product portfolio acquired from Bayer into LEO Pharma, as well as taking over a new factory in Segrate, Italy and onboarding a total of approx. 450 new colleagues.

As part of the Boxster project organization you will be leading your own track of integrating the Segrate Site Supply Chain into the LEO Pharma Supply Chain.

As track lead for the Segrate Site Supply Chain Integration you will be responsible for designing, developing and operationalizing the systems and supply chain processes in order to turn Segrate into a LEO manufacturing site alongside our sites in Vernouillet, Dublin, Esbjerg and Ballerup.

You will be working closely together with the rest of the Boxster Segrate integration team as well as with the overall Boxster project team. You will secure the interdependencies and links towards the rest of the business.

Ensure successful integration by:

• Managing the cross-functional work-stream
• General project management and project planning
• Setting master data requirements and ensure required master data is in place for Day 1
• Ensuring effective hand-over of integration activities to LoB (in Patient Supply and beyond)
• Establishing the needed structures and system support to execute the site level supply planning from Day 1 based on consolidated demand inputs provided by LEO Patient Supply
• Detailing the business processes and structures for Segrate acting as CMO for Bayer and other external 3rd party
• Mapping/detailing current and future set-up, processes and structures for the outbound shipping of goods from the Segrate site from Day 1 including transitioning intro the LEO/DHL distribution agreement
• Creating the overview and plan the processes for the material handovers from Bayer to LEO at Day 1 – including securing the uninterrupted supply of materials for the production start-up takeover close down
• Planning the transition of all direct suppliers to a LEO set-up, including operational procurement, with the support of Global Procurement

You will be working and interacting with stakeholders across different LEO entities as well as external partners globally, so some travel should be expected. When taking over the site on July 1, 2019 you should expect extensive on-site presence in Segrate in order to secure that the site will be able to perform from day one.

Upon termination of the Boxster project you should expect to be looking into future optimization opportunities across LEO but with an initial strong focus on the Segrate site.

Your qualifications and profile

You have a strong academic background, which means you have a strong theoretical foundation of how to successfully run big projects.

You have a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience from a large global company and/or from a top-tier management consulting company which gives you a strong know how in all aspects of project and change management. Experience from the pharmaceutical and/or medical device industries is preferred.

We expect you to have experience being part of large supply chain related strategy/business development projects.

Supply Chain Development & Optimization is a team of 9 and is located in our global headquarters in Ballerup, Denmark and is part of the Patient Supply organization.

No stone is being unturned – we’re looking to optimize supply chain technologies, systems, processes and organization in close partnership with our operational supply chain functions located around the world.
