For our UNA Sales and Proposal department in Onshore, we are looking for a Proposal Manager who will be part of our sales team based in Ikast and involved in the bid and proposal process from initial enquiry to contract signature. What are my responsibilities? Producing the tender price calculations using approved calculation tools to reflect internal cost estimates, supplier / subcontractor prices and margins in line with business targets. Supporting the Technical Sales Manager in business development activities, e.g. preparation of required pre-qualification documentation / submissions. Reviewing invitations to tenders and specifications to determine customer requirements and understand the project drivers. Ensuring that all deliverables are produced in accordance with the tender program by participating in meetings about tender co-ordination, reviews etc. Negotiating technical contract conditions and completing technical contract documentation. Supporting the tender negotiation process / meetings / presentations between customers and the Technical Sales Manager / Commercial Sales Manager / Contract Management. Other responsibilities: Developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with Tender & Construction, Project, Service and Engineering. Ensuring that all activities are conducted in a professional and ethical manner and in full compliance with company procedures, protocols, governance etc. Demonstrating team spirit. A certain extend of travel activities must be expected. What do I need to qualify for this job? Preferably you have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Export Engineering. Preferably you have experience with project bidding and negotiation in large-scale organizations. Preferably you have knowledge of and experience from the wind industry. You have excellent communication skills and working knowledge of MS Word and Excel. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
