Are you a natural trader with both creative and analytical skills? Orifarm’s procurement team is currently searching for a new colleague with a nose for good deals and the ability to build good relationships combined with an understanding of large amounts of data. The Purchase Department consists of 20 dynamic and highly qualified employees with the overall responsibility of ensuring the optimal combination of price and volume when purchasing pharmaceuticals for our parallel import business area. Your responsibilities As part of the procurement team you will have the purchase responsibility for several European markets, where you will be responsible for building close, sustainable relations to the suppliers and at the same time be able to close many small deals. You get motivated by being a part of an ever changing industry, where the winners are the ones who are able to adjust quickest and in the best way. You must be able to take quick decisions, sometimes on an insufficient basis. Hence, adaptability is an important part of your nature and you are able to balance risk-taking with a sense of responsibility. Your competences The key to success in this position is a combination of commercial talent and personality. Ideally, you have a commercial educational background and, preferably, a couple of years working experience in purchasing. A good understanding of numbers is necessary, and it is an advantage if you have experience in making decisions based on forecast, inventory levels, contribution ratios and other key figures. We act in an international setting and therefore you are expected to master English at a high level. Personally, you are driven by a strong performance orientation and you have a good sense of business acumen. Your creative mindset helps you challenge ‘the usual way’ and to find new opportunities. Furthermore, you have a good discipline and you are able to follow up on your tasks and meet deadlines with fierce and strict prioritization. Approximately 30 travel days a year within Europe should be expected.
