About the department The Purchasing Service Centre (PSC) is responsible for the purchasing process for indirect spend in Novo Nordisk. We work closely together with our procurement colleagues in the Corporate Procurement sourcing organisation, Global Service Centre in Bangalore, our internal customers being the employees in Novo Nordisk, and the external vendors. As our new Purchasing Assistant you will join the Purchasing team, a team of 12 highly skilled and motivated employees primarily responsible for purchasing of goods and services. The Job You will be the primarily link between the customers and suppliers. You will be responsible for converting the customers’ needs into purchase orders and send these to the applicable suppliers. You will follow-up on order confirmations, delayed deliveries, invoice deviations and attached service contracts. Further you will handle calls and emails from our customers, supplier and various stakeholders. You will work closely together with your team colleagues and stakeholders to resolve issues which might occur in the purchasing-to-pay process. You will perform all tasks in accordance with corporate purchasing policies and procedures and promote these policies throughout the organisation. You will get the opportunity to participate in continuously improving our processes. Qualifications We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about purchasing and supply chain. Preferable you have couple of years’ experience within this field. Experience with SAP and Ariba or other ERP systems is an advantage. Fluency in English is a prerequisite. We expect you to be service minded, thrive in a busy environment and bring a can-do attitude. You are an outgoing person with a strong personal drive and dedication. You are eager to learn, and have a positive, pragmatic attitude with focus on delivery on time in high quality.
