Spare Parts Sourcing Department is a vital player in making this happen. We are therefore in the process of building a strong global team focused on spare parts and repairs. The goal of this team is to deliver world class sourcing and category management strategy driving cost, quality and on time delivery. To join this team we are now looking for a dynamic and ambitious Purchasing Manager, who has the skills, passion, energy and drive to contribute to this vision. Responsibilities: You will manage Spare Parts Localization Strategy and your main tasks will be: Create a global localization process and plans for different regions Lead negotiations with suppliers and execute Purchase Agreements Identify new local suppliers, technologies and solution in order to exceed cost reduction targets Take leadership on dedicated cross functional team, working across different business units within Vestas and ensuring that Global Service requirements are reflected and addressed in the localization strategy Communicate with Global Service and Sales Business Units on localization progress and agree future priorities Ensure that your Supply Base support the KPI's set by Vestas in regards to cost, delivery, quality and safety Participate in projects, representing Spare Parts Sourcing Qualifications: The successful candidate holds a M.Sc. in Engineering, M.Sc. in Economics & Business Administration or a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration or other relevant higher education. In addition to that we expect: Several years of relevant strategic sourcing experience Good skills in SAP and Excel Proficiency English both verbally and in writing Strong negotiation skills Good analytical skills and problem solving capabilities A strong communicator Independency in daily tasks and you are able to multitask A team player Industrial products business and market knowledge will be preferred but is not required. Experience in Wind Power industry will be welcome.
