You will take control of our global QC Service function in the FLSmidth Denmark Quality Control team. Here you will be part of our centralized Group Procurement organization, a very engaged & professional organization working globally and across all divisions and entities in FLSmidth. You have a strong combination of personal drive, technical skills, manufacturing insight and commercial understanding.

 

Set the direction and execute - to deliver success

You will be part of a team of global quality inspectors improving the quality of FLSmidth equipment and securing alignment with the product line strategies. As Global QC Expert you will be responsible for supporting our suppliers and inspectors to deliver best in class solutions in our industry. You will ensure right specifications, optimal timing and proper supervision for specific products in order to deliver on time, on budget and with top-class quality.

 

In detail, it will be your job to:

·       Support our Inspectors worldwide solving quality issues.

·       Coordinate and solve quality matters from global suppliers and customers

·       Solve internal quality issues among other with engineering.  

·       Perform final inspection to reconcile outgoing shipments

·       Participate in development of suppliers.

·        Ensure the success of the ongoing optimisation of processes, systems and methods.

·       Constantly be a part of best practise implementation 

 

You can foresee up to 40 - 80 travel days per year.

Your CV covers vast experience from challenging quality work of complex products. For that matter, your technical expertise could derive from an engineering degree supported by a solid manufacturing understanding and the ability to deliver results in a complex organisational setting. You have proven your ability to perform inspection and supervise suppliers in technical and manufacturing matters. You have a considerable and in depth understanding of fabrication processes as well as quality systems and construction.

Operating all over the world we expect you to have a strong drive and have an ability to adapt but also work independently. You will collaborate very closely with suppliers and must be able to master the skill between fostering collaboration and still be clear and demanding on quality requirements. You are proficient in English as well as understanding cultural differences and communication styles.
