For our Quality Excellence department within Business Excellence in Operations Nacelle we are looking for a Strong Quality Engineer preferably with experience in working with both quality and EHS. The department is part of the quality and EHS organization and is the foundation for an increasing focus on Quality & EHS Improvements. What are my responsibilities? As a QE&EHS Engineer you will be leading and driving improvement projects throughout all phases from analysis to implementation. You will support the operational quality departments and the Nacelle and Hub production in reducing quality issues by implementing cross-functional corrective/preventive actions. Also you will be a key person for our internal and external customers when approaching Operations on quality topics. As we have chosen to combine the Quality engineer role with the EHS officer role, you will also be a driver for a high level of environmental, health and safety culture. More specifically, your responsibilities will cover: · Initiating and driving Quality improvement projects using Six Sigma methodology, FMEA, RCA, Tap Root. · Support in establishing CAPA as a common tool. · Coordinating, driving and communication quality activities to internal and external customers. · Analyzing business performance as well as evaluating processes effectiveness within Nacelle to identify improvement needs. What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have a Master’s degree in Engineering or Quality or an equivalent professional background combined with 5+ years of professional experience from a similar position in an international company. · You possess project management experience, working across the entire value chain, designing solutions and implementing corrections to process and operational issues. · Preferably you hold a generally approved professional project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE 2, PMI, PMP, IPMA certification). · You have experience with quality systems and tools where certification (i.e. ISO lead auditor, PPAP, Six Sigma, etc.) is preferred. · Knowledge of manufacturing processes of large products will be seen as an advantage, as would experience within the wind industry. · As a person you are self-driven, assertive and process-oriented, and you have a structured approach to your tasks. You possess strong analytical and outstanding communication skills. · You are a dedicated team player thriving in a dynamic environment with many cross-cultural interfaces · Finally, you have excellent English skills both orally and in writing, and you are an advanced user of Microsoft Excel. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
