Alfa Laval Copenhagen A/S, Engineering & Supply in Søborg is looking for a Quality Inspector Alfa Laval Copenhagen A/S, Engineering & Supply, supplies components, process modules and complete systems for power/heat transfer, fresh water, environment and food worldwide. We are looking for a new quality inspector, who will ensure high quality of our solutions. The quality inspector will perform quality inspections at sub-contractors premises. The ideal candidate has an education in mechanical engineering or similar with supplementary education in inspection and QA/QC. The candidate must have some years work experience from manufacturing in stainless steel and in-depth knowledge of technical specifications, documentation and standards met in the manufacturing industry. The company language is English why strong communication skills in English are essential. Key tasks . Perform Quality Inspections at suppliers . Plan inspections based on input from engineering . Report result of quality inspections and request documented decisions from engineering . Follow-up on non-conformances and corrective actions identified . Participate in supplier audits and approvals Personal profile & qualifications . Mechanical engineer or similar with experience from assembly of plants or products in stainless steel . Familiar with technical standards, specifications and drawings . Experience with NDT methods . Level I Certified Visual Inspector (preferred) . Educated lead auditor with work experience with QA/QC . Good in communication with supplier, engineers, procurement, order handlers etc. . Excellent verbal and written skills in English . Good at planning and prioritizing – even on busy days . Persistent with drive and focus on the customer (quality and delivery on time) . Strong team player with good cross-cultural awareness We offer .
