For our EMEA Onshore headquarter in Ikast, Denmark, we are looking for a Quality Manager in Project (QMiP) at the earliest opportunity. The Quality Manager drives and operatively supports the Project Manager as expert and partner by planning, supervising, ensuring and reporting appropriate activities with regard to failure prevention, effective proceedings and continuous improvements over the entire PM (at) Siemens process. Of particular importance is the authority to intervene at any stage in the project, if proceedings impact targeted results negatively. In this position you will act as member of the core project team. What are my responsibilities? • Establishing customer integration through appropriate and traceable processes / proceedings • Developing project specific quality planning in line with Siemens Wind Power standards • Controlling of quality target achievement for the project and reporting of project quality status • Monitoring and ensuring Quality Gates and preventive quality tools in processes and projects • Ensuring supplier / subcontractor related processes as supervision, inspection and auditing • Supporting the development and implementation of a consistent Quality Management System • Initiating and driving continuous improvement measures within PM Management • Being responsible for project / site quality audits, assessments – both external audits and initiation of internal assessments • Preparation of quality related Management Reviews • Identifying qualification deficits with regards to quality (own resources and subcontractors) What do I need to qualify for this job? • You have a relevant educational background combined with several years of professional experience in a project-related job or in operational quality management / quality assurance • Knowledge of products, systems and services of the wind Industry will be seen as an advantage • Experience with Quality Management and statistical methodologies, benchmarking, audits, reviews, assessments and know-how regarding internal and external standards and regulations (organizational and super visional duties, ISO 9000:2000, VDE, CE, etc.) • Knowledge in Business Administration • As a person you are open-minded, solution-oriented and proactive with a constant focus on quality • You are an excellent user of MS Office and you possess knowledge of specific quality tools • You thrive in a multi-cultural environment and you possess excellent communication and English skills both orally and in writing In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
