Quality Manager for Carlsberg Denmark Supply Chain in Fredericia

The job

We are looking for an ambitious and business minded Quality Manager to take charge of our quality function and the 4 competent and highly experienced employees in the department. Your primary task will be to secure that the quality department deliver on day to day basis and on targets and KPI’s, while at the same time drive a continuous improvement culture.

Your responsibilities
You will become part of a strong and dedicated quality function. A function that plays a crucial part in securing that our strong brands live up to our high standards.
Your tasks will be to; 

• Sustain and improve the Quality Management systems to secure that consistent high quality products are delivered to customers, and consumers according to legal and Carlsberg internal requirements. 
• Support the implementation and maintenance of all food safety & Quality standards and support training and coaching to operators.
• Lead internal/external audits and manage hygiene programs.
• Monitor cost of poor quality and drive improvement opportunities following standard problem solving tools and ensuring loss prevention.
• Ensure root cause analyses tools are deployed appropriately, corrective actions are effective, sustainable and completed to agreed timescales for operational  quality failures. Follow up complaints notification and investigation.
• Support innovation plans, projects and industrial trial for new types of packaging materials, raw materials and finished goods, ensuring quality and food safety acceptance criteria are clearly defined and achieved.
• Advise on labelling regulations, customer information (including nutritional, specifications and questionnaires), customs clearance and artwork approval. 

 

You will have a broad contact with our production, logistics and sales. The position refers to our Head of quality, and you will together with our laboratory manager be part of the quality leadership team.

 

Your Qualifications

We expect you to be strong networker, able to secure alignment across the organization and regardless of organizational level. You actively promotes ''one - team'' spirit and collaboration across functions. You communicate with great clarity and impact and you demonstrate commitment and personal ownership, and loyal sticks to decisions taken. As a manager you involve and inspire others and gives people responsibility and drive changes with quality and speed.

 

Furthermore we expect …

• A university degree in engineering (food technologies/ Chemical/ Science)
• Minimum 5 years quality or production experience, preferably in FMCG or food industry
• Management experience for shorter or longer period is desirable
• Experience in HACCP and be a lead auditor in food safety
• Well proven skills and experience in continuous improvement programs
   

As Carlsberg is an international company it is expected, that you are fluent in English and preferably in Danish.
