So, what are you going to do today?

Alfa Laval is a strong and growing organization experiencing increasing demand for the Agro & Protein industry. The Quotation Engineer will support local and global business by securing cost-effective solutions and providing efficient cost calculations and high-quality quotation documentation.

About the job
As a new Quotation Engineer, you will be responsible for offering the right scope to our customers in the Protein industry. 
You will be responsible for handling and coordinating cost calculations for modules, systems and process plants based on Alfa Laval standard concepts and customer requests. You will be asked to improve and optimize standard solutions to enhance our competitiveness and challenge the Sales team when needed with our offering to customers.
You will help preparing quotation documentation and evaluate quotation texts to be sent to customers.

You will also be in charge of maintaining and improving the cost calculation tool (Excel based).

What you know
You have an engineering degree or equivalent and are fluent in written and spoken English. 
You have significant experience as project engineer, for at least 10 years.
We expect you to be a master with Excel. 
You are capable of understanding PIDs and processes.

You are calm and able to maintain stable performance under pressure, and can accept criticism without becoming hostile or over-defensive.
You work independently, in a structured way and in accordance with rules and procedures. You have strong coordination skills. Very good communication skills are required.
