About the department You will be part of RA GLP-1, Obesity and Diabetes Complications, one of the functional areas in Regulatory Affairs. The area is responsible for global strategies to obtain and maintain market authorisations worldwide for new products and for life cycle management activities within treatment of diabetes and obesity. We are 46 dedicated and highly engaged people in four departments, working with projects ranging from early to late stage development and with products already on the market. We are currently looking for a Department Assistant for an 8 months period. The job You will have an important role in supporting and providing service to your colleagues across the departments. Your key responsibilities will be on-boarding of new employees and coordinating training programs on the basis of input from Department Directors. Together with the Personal Assistant to the Corporate VP you will be the anchor of the departments with a wide variety of tasks including procurement of office supplies, arranging meetings, minutes writing and other ad hoc administrative tasks. You will provide IT systems supports and be responsible for ordering of IT equipment. Qualifications We are looking for an outgoing flexible person with experience in administrative support. You have a service-minded ”can-do” attitude, a good sense of humour and thrives working in a busy environment. You are good at maintaining overview and multitasking under tight deadlines, while still showing attention to details. You are trust worthy and proactive and are able to work independently. You have a sincere interest in people, have good communication skills and are proficient with both written and spoken English. You are strong at building relations and have a genuine desire to collaborate with many different stakeholders. Finally, you have excellent skills in MS office and you are familiar with GlobeShare. You have an administrative education or similar, preferably you have administrative experience from regulatory affairs or related fields in the pharmaceutical industry.
