Our new R&D Manager - Head of Audio and RF IC will be a part of the “Silicon Engines” function of 50+ people, which is responsible for designing and developing ICs for hearing aids and accessories within the William Demant Holding Group. The Audio and RF team exist of 10 analog and digital IC designers who are developing extremely low power IC’s that pushes the boundaries of what is possible and deliver industry leading audio performance and 2,4GHz wireless performance. The management challenge As Head of Audio and RF IC your most important responsibility is to lead and guide your team of highly skilled engineers. You strive to motivate and challenge highly skilled technical professionals while contributing to an effective and competent leadership team. You are highly structured and delivery oriented with focus on optimizing processes using different development methods. Your main responsibilities will be: Project management - manage the project with highly skilled experts, reaching quality results in time People management Conducting high level architecture Drive procurement of IP Ensure the entire chipset is delivered on time This managerial position offer you a chance to combine your knowledge and interest in analogue audio and RF IC with experience in project management and leadership. Are we looking for you? You hold a M.Sc or B.A degree within electronics engineering with vast experience in electronics design but more importantly, you have 6+ years of managerial experience covering extensive experience in managing highly technical specialists. You may have comprehensive knowledge of IC design and know the principles of analogue audio and RF IC development. Personality wise you are proactive and highly skilled in stakeholder management. We imagine you to be robust and comfortable handling ambiguity. You are a natural communicator and you make sure that the strategic goals are fulfilled.
