About the department

Increasingly, healthcare payers and decision-makers want to evaluate drugs in their own real world settings, outside of randomized clinical trials, for formulary and clinical decisions. 

You get the opportunity to join an international and high performing team in Søborg, Denmark responsible for generating real world evidence for Novo Nordisk’s portfolio based on e.g. health administrative databases or data from non-interventional studies. The evidence we generate is published in peer reviewed publications, presented at scientific meetings and communicated globally in support of patient access to our portfolio of therapies. 

We are part of Global Patient Access, and the overall ambition for the area is to secure patient access to our innovations in Novo Nordisk. Real world data and evidence are being used more actively to form strategic business decisions with increasing focus for patient access. We are focused on evidence driven decision making as well as ensuring that Novo Nordisk effectively engages with patients, health care professionals, policymakers and other key external stakeholders to address the global fight against diabetes and obesity and other serious chronic diseases.

 

The position

As global HEOR manager specialised in real-world evidence you will work closely with multiple stakeholders such as brand teams, medical affairs, R&D, regions and affiliates. The evidence generated to support patient access, regionally and locally, will be adapted to payer’s needs and focused on demonstrating real-world economic and clinical benefits. You will partner with global and local stakeholders to facilitate the development and design of real-world evidence studies of large datasets and partnerships. You will present and communicate findings internally and externally. In addition to this you will further strengthen the internal understanding and impact of real world evidence by executing training and consolidating communication across stakeholders.

 

Qualifications

You have a minimum of a Master’s degree in an appropriate field such as

outcomes research, PharmD with data analytics, epidemiology or statistics/biostatistics. Working experience with primary research and analysis of health outcomes data from relevant sources is a requirement. You need an understanding of the quantitative data analysis using health outcomes data preferably combined with clinical understanding. Experience from consultancy is an advantage. 

You set strategic direction with a focus on the commercial impact of patient access. You have an exploratory mind-set and have exceptional project management skills. As a person, you are outgoing and can create excellent stakeholder networks. You are able to collaborate across multiple boundaries and enjoy working with cross functional teams. Apart from that you are fluent in both written and spoken English and open to international travel.
