Then we urge you to keep on reading as you could be our next Regional Category Manager being responsible for specific BU’s at Danfoss Heating Solutions. You will be responsible for identifying and develop the implementation of global and regional saving programmes. You will report directly to the Head of Category Finished Components and are offered a unique opportunity to apply your procurement knowledge on a global scale. Develop and implement category strategies The job will enable you to develop your creativity and require you to find new ways of thinking. You will have a wide interface with both internal and external stakeholders and play a central role in creating impact and changes for the HS division. As Regional Category Manager you will be responsible for making stepwise changes by developing and executing the category strategies in full compliance with the global strategy and supply chain needs, and you will furthermore be responsible for supplier management (establishment of agreements, negotiations, supplier selection, supplier classification). Your key tasks will be to: •Identify cost optimisation possibilities •Drive consolidation projects within identified areas across the finished product category •Deliver process efficiencies through execution of projects and negotiations with suppliers Strong negotiator with solid networking skills and direct procurement experience You are a proactive self starter with high drive, ambition and a positive can do attitude. You have a relevant educational background backed by solid procurement/category management experience. It is essential that you are result oriented and that you have strong negotiation skills. You hold an analytical approach and work both independently and in cross functional teams. You are also good at leading change and prioritising. You master English at negotiation level, have diplomatic skills and are able to communicate on all levels.
