For the Global Procurement Department in Denmark, we are looking for a Regional Commodity Manager in the Electricals Module with the responsibility for MV Equipment and Converters. What are my responsibilities? Regional responsibility for the total Purchasing Volume of the MV Equipment and Converters Commodity. Organization, controlling and measurement of pooling and Procurement activities in a managed Regional team striving for optimum conditions in an excellent supplier base through collaborative, targeted activities. Ensure regional PVO transparency to ensure a correct reporting. Contribute to the global Commodity strategy by implementing and communicating the strategy in the region to ensure long-term, cost-efficient supply of materials. Define and implement negotiation concepts and strategies to maximize savings. Negotiate regional frame contracts; define core assortment; document frame contracts in relevant Supplier Management IT-systems. Organize and support global sourcing projects as requested by the Global Commodity Manager to increase the PVO in GVS countries. Apply the usage of eProcurement tools (eRfX, eAuction/ eBidding) to improve the Procurement processes and efficiency. Generate, document and implement savings; plan, monitor and report on relevant KPIs and ensure the target achievement within the respective Commodity in the region to contribute to the success of the business and make results transparent. Perform Supplier Management, Qualification, Development to ensure an optimum supply chain. What do I need to qualify for this job? You have a Bachelor+ degree (Business Administration / Industrial Engineering / Electricals) as educational background. 3+ years of professional experience in a global environment within the areas of strategic procurement or supply chain management. You are an experienced negotiator with a proven track record and strong analytical skills. You have a systematic and structured approach to your assignments. As a person you are highly motivated, open minded and able to work independently. You have excellent English skills both orally and in writing, and you are an advanced user of Microsoft Excel and SAP. You prefer working in groups, including groups with different backgrounds and origins. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
