You will be responsible for fuelling the profitability and volume growth of the leading international brands Carlsberg, K1664 & Tuborg across existing ELUD markets in close cooperation with the local ELUD Partners, WE Business Unit, ELUD Marketing and Group Commercial.

Export, License & Urban Development (ELUD) is the company in Carlsberg Group responsible for export and license business in all markets, where Carlsberg has no breweries. ELUD has an ambitious growth strategy and we are looking for an experienced and dynamic personality with strong marketing skills and business acumen to strengthen the organisation.

We are looking for a Regional Manager with excellent commercial and marketing understanding with the key responsibilities of growing the ELUD profit and brand equities in selected markets in Western Europe in cooperation with ELUD's support functions (marketing, finance and customer service & sourcing).

You will be part of a team responsible for the export and license business in Western Europe ELUD covering markets from Greenland to Cyprus. The total volume is ~2.5M HL, with the largest markets being Ireland, UK (K1664), Belgium, Greenland and Cyprus.

You bring a solid commercial understanding and focus on growth of the markets and continuous development of competencies.

You are strong in building partnership relations and you are expected to drive our business by developing and implementing market and brand strategies & plans.

Key responsibilities

Drive short & long term profit in selected markets
Grow CB brands and positions through external partners
Secure Carlsberg brands are marketed according to corporate guidelines and agreements (approvals)
Best practice sharing and implementation with partners
Proactively seek new brands/ business opportunities in selected markets
Negotiate contracts, prices and trading conditions
Monthly & Quarterly Reporting
Prepare and follow-up on plans, budgets and estimates

Requirements

Preferably Master degree from either University or Business school within Sales & Marketing
Min. 5 years experience within FMCG (sales & marketing) with international exposure
Good commercial and financial understanding/experience
Strategic and analytical thinking, but at the same time action-orientated and capable of implementing
Business development competences
Good negotiation skills
High work capacity and personal drive
Fluency in English and ideally Spanish
Accepting travelling as "part of the job" (~ 60-80 days)
