About the department In Quality Solutions, within Corporate IT, you will be part of a highly engaged department responsible for managing the IT systems for Corporate Quality and Global Safety. You will be responsible for the development and coordination of a GxP critical IT system, including responsibility for managing releases and corrections as well as the support processes. You will also have opportunity for professional sparring and best practice exchanges in your daily work. Furthermore Quality Solutions is involved in projects with line of business, working closely to ensure that business processes are supported by the IT system. Quality Solutions is a part of Corporate IT in Novo Nordisk A/S. The Job You will become the release manager in an experienced novoGloW system team, co-located in Denmark and in India, with coordinating responsibilities across the novoGloW applications. novoGloW is a workflow platform currently running 7 applications, supporting processes that are core to the quality and safety processes in Novo Nordisk. The job entails a broad range of release management activities out of the Novo Nordisk HQ based Corporate IT organisation in Bagsværd Denmark mainly focused on release management for the novoGloW system suite including management of system development activities, e.g. releases and change request. You will also be responsible for the planning and execution of system activities in the system team as well as ensuring compliance with Novo Nordisk and external authorities quality requirements for IT Systems and act as validation responsible during releases. You will function as liaison between Line of Business and IT vendors, communicating with customers, system owner, key stakeholders and service providers globally; dealing with processes, technologies, and compliance. In this respect you will be responsible for the delivery of third party services and ensuring that they fulfil contract responsibilities and meet business requirements in coordination with System Owner. In your role you will also participate in system maintenance activities in collaboration with the novoGloW system managers and evaluate and recommend on IT technical issues for change request raised by Line of Business Qualifications The ideal candidate holds a master degree and has a proven track record with 5-7 years’ experience in project/release/system management or international project management from the pharmaceutical (or other relevant) industry. The right candidate has knowledge of IT system support processes and a certification in known IT project methodology. You are fluent in English (oral and written), and as a person your structured way of working and general overview enables you to handle several tasks at a time and still keep an ongoing focus on results.
