The Mads Clausen Institute at the University of Southern Denmark within it's center NanoSYD has a vacant position as a research assistant within the Interreg Vb project 'Green PE' at the university campus in Sonderborg, to be filled by 1 June 2016. The position is terminated to 31.12.2018. The Green PE project aims to accelerate the market uptake of Advanced Power Electronics (Advanced PE) by companies, especially SMEs, in the BSR for the efficient conversion, transmission and consumption of energy. The project sets up a cross­sector consortium consisting of 7 research institutions with expertise in Advanced PE, 18 companies from the energy supply chain as well as 7 partners from business development associations, technology transfer institutions and cluster organisations. NanoSYDs part is centered around carrying out a demonstration pilot in the market sector of e-mobility, developing a transnational technology and product roadmap of Advanced PE and working on failure analysis of electronic devices based on new materials such as SiC or GaN. We are looking for a research assistant which should focus on developing the transnational technology roadmap, but will also be included in the other work packages of the project, namely industrial demonstration pilots, technology marketing and technology consulting.
