Research Scientist, Enzyme Purification, Bagsvaerd/Copenhagen We are looking for a dedicated research scientist to join our protein purification team. You will be part of the “Enzyme Purification and MS” department which is located in Bagsvaerd north of Copenhagen. You will take part in running highly efficient chromatographic flows for enzyme purification. This includes planning and troubleshooting of existing purification flows and designing and implementing new specialized purification flows. You will be responsible for optimizations of the purifications to ensure high throughput, adequate quality and low failure rate. This will be done in close collaboration with our skilled research scientists and associates and by interaction with the protein engineering, screening and assay scientists from other R&D departments. In addition, you will work on cross functional and global discovery projects, where you will create value with your protein purification expertise and potentially also your management skills. In this position you need to have: A PhD in biochemistry or similar. Alternatively, you hold a master degree combined with minimum 2-3 years of experience from the biotech or pharmaceutical industry Solid experience with protein purification by different types of chromatographic methods Demonstrated skills and interest in planning, optimization and structuring of experiments and/or purification flows Good communication and collaboration skills besides beeing open and outgoing A dedicated and result oriented approach and you take pride in delivering scientifically sound results on time Are you the next Zymer in our team?
