For a new position, the Department of Development LCMS Bioanalysis is seeking a highly qualified and motivated scientist to support the outsourced dose formulation analysis in the non-clinical studies using HPLC/UPLC.

 

About the department

The department is responsible for bioanalysis and dose formulation analysis for non-clinical and clinical safety and efficacy evaluations across the entire project portfolio at Novo Nordisk A/S. This is a new position intended to support the outsourced dose formulation analysis in the non-clinical studies. The department is part of Global Discovery & Development Sciences area in the Global Drug Discovery Unit of Novo Nordisk A/S, and is located in Måløv, Denmark.

 

The position

Your task will be to support the fully outsourced dose formulation analysis in the non-clinical studies.

Your main focus will be ensuring that the non-clinical studies receive analytical results, at the right time and in the right quality. This includes ensuring transfer and validation of assays from Novo Nordisk to the CROs, as well as reviewing their study plans, reports and eventually visiting them for troubleshooting and/or review of raw data. Hence, a number of travel days per year must be expected.

You will work on several GLP projects/studies in close cooperation with Global Discovery & Development Sciences and Quality Assurance (QA) in connection with non-clinical safety evaluation in the development of drugs and medical devices, in support of clinical research and/or marketing applications.

 

Qualifications

You hold a Master’s degree within Life Sciences (Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Engineering or other relevant discipline). You have practical experience within HPLC/UPLC analytical development preferable within in the pharmaceutical industry. You have a good knowledge of general protein chemistry, HPLC/UPLC and assay validation. Knowledge of the GLP principles will be an advantage.

 

You are flexible, ambitious, focused on results, have a quality mind-set and have a good sense of humour. You are good at communicating and collaborating in teams in order to reach team goals.

 

You have excellent interpersonal skills that allow you to build fruitful relations to both colleagues and stakeholders. You have strong written and oral communication skills in English as well as the capability to work in an interdisciplinary environment.

 

You will join a team in a highly dynamic and challenging environment within the Department of Development LCMS Bioanalysis.
