- Research Scientist - Denmark - Gentofte Would you like to work with formulation development in a team dedicated to developing the next generation of biopharmaceuticals – then we have the job for you! A temporary position (7 months) as Research Scientist in team Biopharm Formulation Development I is available from the 1st of December 2015 for a dynamic and skilled scientist. About the department Biopharm Formulation Development is located in Gentofte (Copenhagen, Denmark) and is part of Injectable Protein Formulation in the R&D area CMC Supply. The department is responsible for formulation development of both soluble and freeze-dried injectables of new therapeutic proteins, growth hormones and monoclonal antibodies. We are involved in development and research projects within haemostasis, growth hormone therapy, obesity and diabetes. The job In the team we are 6 Technicians, 7 Scientists/Specialists, 1 master intern student, 1 laboratory trainee and a Team Leader. As formulation scientist in team Biopharm Formulation Development I you are responsible for development of stable protein formulations with optimal pharmaceutical characteristics within our portfolio. You will work in a team and be allocated to specific projects. You will design, interpret and report studies on drug product - hereby generating pharmaceutical documentation for internal and external use, and also write documentation to support manufacturing for clinical and non-clinical trials. You will interact with a wide variety of internal stakeholders, e.g. Analytical Development, Production Pilot Plant, Quality Assurance and Regulatory affairs. The temporary position Qualifications You hold a Master of Science possibly combined with a PhD in Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy or another relevant scientific discipline. It is an advantage if you have working experience within drug product development, but it is not a requirement. As a person you are result-oriented, flexible and capable of handling several tasks. You enjoy working in a team with highly motivated people dedicated to developing the next generation of biopharmaceuticals. You work systematically, have good collaborative skills and are capable of adhering to strict documentation standards.
