If so, you have the opportunity to play a key role in CMC Biopharm Analytical Support in Gentofte, Copenhagen. About the department Department Biopharm Analytical Development is a part of CMC Injectable Protein Formulation in R&D. The department are organised in two analytical teams with a total number of 45 persons. We offer a temporary position of 15 month in Team Biopharm Analytical Support, which consists of 3 scientists and 13 technicians. The team is responsible of analytical support to new biopharm products – all the way from early development to phase 3 clinical trials. The team supports API and DP development within the R&D biopharm pipeline with analytical support covering a range of technics including chromatographic methods (UPLC, HPLC), Capillary electrophoresis, Bioanalyzer, SDS-page and Nanodrop. The job The position as a Research Scientists consists of many different elements. You will play a big role in the daily planning and prioritizing of work tasks within the team, you will ensure that the analytical results generated meet the given lead time and comply with the current GMP and GLP standards. In this position you will also approve analytical results, troubleshoot analytical methods in the team; you are responsible for prepare/update instructions (SOP’s), non-conformity reports and change requests. You will play an active role in method development by continuous input and communication with the method development team; you will have a close collaboration with scientists and technicians in- and outside the team. You will have daily contact with key stakeholders such as the method development team, production pilot plants, API and DP development. Together with your colleagues you will contribute to the on-going optimisation of processes and systems using LEAN. Qualifications You hold a Master’s degree within Life Sciences (Pharmacy, Engineering or other relevant discipline). A PhD or similar experience is an advantage but not a requirement. You have a minimum of 2 years of practical experience within HPLC/UPLC analytical development in the pharmaceutical industry. You have a good knowledge of general protein chemistry, HPLC/UPLC and validation. Knowledge of GMP/GLP regulatory requirements is an asset.
