Siemens Wind Power’s service business is growing and we are intensifying our off shore activities. We are therefore searching for a Resource Coordinator to support us in the planning and coordination of resources associated with operation of Jack-up vessels. As a resource coordinator you will play a key role in ensuring the best possible utilization of these highly specialized vessels globally. What are my responsibilities? · Coordinate vessels and schedule planning based on the requests, booking priorities and rules · Coordination of manning, securing the right resources are in place for the different operations · Planning of operations and logistic setup. (in cooperation with the Maritime and Aviation Solutions team and the regions) · Forecast the use of vessels and manning (incl. booking of trainings, coordination of subcontractors etc.) · Actively contribute in the development of a suitable planning tool · Coordination of operation with internal and external customers · Status reporting to management and customers What do I need to qualify for this job? · Ideally you come from the shipping industry where you have played a significant role in vessel coordination or you have a degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management. · You thrive in the coordinating role in a global setup where it is required that you keep several balls in the air simultaneously without losing the perspective. · Ideally, you are familiar with the Danish Working Environment Act and the British Health and Safety at Work Act · You are service minded and work concentrated and independently towards achieving your goals. As such you demonstrate can-do spirit · You are an effective communicator with excellent English skills orally and in writing. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
