As Retail Visual Merchandising (VM) Manager in the Trade Solutions department, you will meet 15 dedicated and professional colleagues responsible for developing store concepts and visual merchandising and providing marketing services. We are a global, dynamic department with touchpoints across the organization and the entire globe. You manage 1-2 colleagues plus additional trainees and interns, and you work with bureaus, regions and markets in an international setting. Job Profile: You will be responsible for developing creative concept solutions for the retail environment to activate the ECCO brand globally. Thus, you are overall responsible for VM projects from initialisation and creative brief, sparring with VM agencies on training and support before and during implementation. You work with numerous interfaces and in strong cooperation with many internal and external stakeholders (market VMs, Trade Concept Development, Consumer Communications & PR, Design- and Concept Lab etc.). Cooperation is essential to make things happen and to keep the momentum in development processes. Moreover, you: Work on strategy, development, drafting and distribution of visual merchandising communications as well as develop campaign-related recommendations to secure global alignment and strong global usability. Ensure sales targets are considered in recommendations and manage the budget of your team. Increase the value of the brand image through consistent global presentation, travelling to visit markets when necessary. Work towards increasing workflow efficiently and meeting deadlines to aide stores in implementation. Assist in developing and implementing defined projects in retail. Qualifications and Work Experience: For this position, your creative and commercial outlook is essential to quickly grasp the ECCO brand identity and deliver strategic input. You know how to inspire others while leading, assigning tasks and following up. You take initiative and ownership and very importantly, you have a solid understanding of people. With excellent communication skills, you can interface with a diverse group, build relationships, gain feedback and build ownership in defined markets. Moreover, we imagine that you: Have experience from a similar role within visual merchandising. Experience with shoes, leather goods and accessories is a plus. You have proven management skills. You are proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) – and preferably also ADOBE Cloud - Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design. You are able to work on several tasks and projects at the same time, create momentum and work according to milestones. You are fluent in English, and if you speak other languages, it is definitely a plus. Furthermore, you are willing to travel roughly 10 days a year and have a good cultural understanding, as each market has its own unique culture.
