The present Retrofit Sales Leader has been transferred to a position within FLSmidth and we are seeking a new colleague for Leading & Coordinating the sales of minor upgrades to cement plants.   

 The position will be located in Valby as part of Region SSAME

As the Retrofit sales Leader you will ultimately, in collaboration with the region's Sales Team, be responsible for driving the sales of smaller upgrades to our cement customers in Region SSAME. You will be working with the region's Sales Team, and you will be responsible for identifying the best technical and commercial solutions in order to provide our customers with fast and competitive proposals. You will also be accompanying the Sales Team in the final stages of customer negotiations in order to optimize the possibilities of increased Retrofit sales. You will additionally be responsible for forming the contracts related to the Retrofit Orders in conjunction with the Sales Team and the customers in the region. You will hereafter be in close contact with the assigned project managers in order to ensure that the particular projects are conducted as agreed with our customers.

 

As the Retrofit Sales Leader you will be forming part of a very strong Regional SSAME Team. You will report to the region's General Manager for Cement Aftermarket Sales.

Detailed Description

·         Lead Retrofit sales internally in FLSmidth in order to achieve the best possible technical and commercial solutions for our customers.

·         Organize ongoing meetings with the Sales Team via Lync.

·         Organize ongoing meetings with colleagues within the Industry in order to transmit different assignments and follow up on same.

·         Create detailed overviews of case processes - next steps etc.

·         Coordinate with technical specialists regarding site visits.

·         Accompany the Sales Team on headquarter and site visits in the final stages of negotiations.

·         Form and finalize the contracts related to the Retrofit sale.

·         Be in close contact with assigned project managers in order to ensure that we are always on top of things.

Job Requirements

·         A strong network internally in FLSmidth and an understanding of the organization to get things through.

·         The ability to understand and convey technical and commercial Retrofit case details.

·         Experience in forming contracts.

·         Persuading and influencing skills.

·         Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.

·         Computer literate in MS Office.  

·         Bachelor/Master degree.

·         Previous technical experience in the Cement Industry.

·         Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs)

·         Commercial knowledge and experience.

·         Excellent communication skills

·         Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude
