About the Position
Come and join the next generation Offshore turbine platform as Risk Manager / Internal Project Manager. If you thrive in a dynamic and appreciative environment working alongside some of the most talented engineers in the world then this is the job for you.
Our Next generation platform within Offshore Technology is looking for an experienced Risk Manager / Internal Project Manager who is ready to take full ownership of the risk evaluation process including the full coordination across multiple stakeholders. Beside Risk management responsibilities you will gradually be involved in other platform specific internal projects.
To give an example of a typical month as a Risk Manager you will be conducting 15-20 Risk-meetings with relevant stakeholders. At these meetings you update the risk picture and if needed add (or delete) risks in close agreement with the responsible engineers. You also do a status / tracking of the agreed mitigative actions with the responsible engineers. Before these meetings you have prepared a risk overview per stakeholder/area. All preparation is handled in Excel and all documentation and reporting is then afterwards done in the risk management tool EasyRisk.
Experience and knowledge about risk management within large companies and/or complex project organizations should be your main driver for applying for this job.
What are my responsibilities?
- Maintain a complete Platform risk overview regarding both project risks and technical risks
- Coordination across multiple stakeholders
- On a monthly basis conduct Risk assessment meetings by updating risks, actions and timelines
- Ensure that Platform Management has the latest status and insights available on the complete platform risk picture by delivering a monthly risk report
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Preferably, you have an education as cand.merc or cand.oecon or similar combined with 1-3 years of experience of project management preferably in an R&D organization
- You know how to get things through and remain welcomed
- You are great at coordinating across many stakeholders and interfaces
- You motivate others through your positive and result-oriented way of getting-things-done
- Preferably you have experience with the risk management tool EasyRisk
- You have a very structured approach to your assignments
- You are very skilled in using Excel and know how to create and work with macro's
- You are an experienced user of MS PowerPoint
- You thrive in a multi-cultural environment and you are familiar with working in large matrix organizations
