We are looking for two interns to join our team in Nordborg, Denmark. Our major responsibility is development of autonomous systems and work with highly challenging and stimulating problems to deliver new solutions using advanced robotic systems.

1. Robotic System Engineer Intern

Tasks:

Creating ROS models, nodes and filters for autonomous features according to customer specifications and scenarios definitions.
Support algorithm developers working in our autonomous department.
Exploring new areas of robotics, artificial intelligence, and software that could benefit Danfoss.

2. Automation System Engineer Intern

Tasks:

Identifying objects in cluttered environments, estimating their pose and tracking their position from a moving robotic arm and Wheeled robots.
Working on the robot’s navigational systems for mapping, localization, path planning, obstacle detection and avoidance. Our robots are designed to work safely and reliably alongside shoppers and employees during normal store hours.
Building interfaces to our robots for managing and configuring our robot fleet and the data streams they generate.

The jobs are quite versatile, ranging from driver development, to more high-level cognition. Being part of a team of highly skilled individuals, we always strive to make you work on what you're best at.

Qualifications:

You must be a student at bachelor or master’s level in Engineering – Mechatronics, Robot Systems or Software Engineering, and it would be advantageous if your CV documents relevant activities or projects.
As the ideal candidate you have strong technical skills, are willing to tackle real-life problems and work in a highly dynamic team.
You are academically curious, a quick learner, demonstrated ability to work independently as well as within a highly-motivated team environment and you show a passion for autonomous systems.
We also expect you to be enterprising and interested in working with many different people in an international environment.
