For the Technical & Safety Training department at our global head office in Brande, Denmark, we are looking for a Safety Instructor. You will be part of a highly motivated team strongly committed to delivering high-level training. In addition to our department in Denmark, we have departments located in the USA, Germany and United Kingdom. What are my responsibilities? As a Safety Instructor your main responsibilities will cover: Instructing, based on modern learning principles and a positive learning environment. Training internal and external parties both locally and abroad on safety procedures etc. Staying updated on the quality system and the relevant processes and working in accordance with the quality system requirements. In this position min. 20 days of travelling can be expected. What do I need to qualify for this job? You have documented competencies within the areas of First Aid, working at heights, firefighting or the like, and are ready to utilize your knowledge in instructing others. Documented teaching experience is a requirement. You are a judge of character with a high tolerance towards other people. It comes naturally to you to navigate easily in a busy and dynamic environment where the situation changes from day to day. This calls for an analytical and structured approach to your work. In general, you demonstrate a “can do” attitude, are self-driven but also possess a great sense of team spirit. Since English is our corporate language it is important that you are fluent both orally as well as in writing. Moreover, we expect you to be fully versed in the most prevalent IT applications. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
