About the department Safety Surveillance diabetes is a department within Global Safety and is situated in Bagsværd. Our team of dedicated and skilled professionals has global responsibility for the surveillance of all safety information for Novo Nordisk’s marketed diabetes products as well as products under development. The Job The temporary position as a Safety Surveillance Adviser is open for immediate replacement and is for a period of 12 months. You will be responsible for the ongoing safety surveillance of one or more products. This responsibility includes medical evaluation of safety information, safety signal detection, medical input to aggregate safety reporting and benefit risk assessments. You will also give input to protocols for drug development and responsible for post marketing surveillance. You will work independently and in collaboration with groups of highly skilled, committed and enthusiastic colleagues that create a good work environment. Assuming responsibility, communicating information and taking action will be a part of your work day. Qualifications You have a university degree within Natural Sciences (MD, DVM, M.Sc. Pharm. or equivalent). A good understanding of medical concepts, disease processes, scientific methodology, drug development and data analysis is important. Experience within pharmacovigilance and/or drug development is a valuable asset. As a person you are responsible, well-organised, a self-starter, able to work under pressure when needed, have a strong analytical sense and are curious! You are a team player, and you are good at establishing contact and collaborating with stakeholders. You must be fluent in English, both written and spoken and be an experienced user of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).
