Contribute to Work Functions Division profitable growth You will join the successful Work Functions Division, market leader in low speed high torque hydraulic motors and work with the operational units in Danfoss Power Solutions and Sales & Marketing. You will be based in Nordborg, Denmark. Working in an autonomous position, you will be responsible for identifying and driving sales plans for market opportunities and key growth areas in primarily the EU Nordic markets. This position will take you travelling 60 days per year primarily within the EU – the first 6 months may involve increased travels. Apply your technical and commercial knowledge to create growth You apply your keen technical, commercial and strategic knowledge in a position, where you will create a broad network across Danfoss Power Solutions. Doing this, you analyse the markets to decide and work out sales plans and targets in cooperation with Sales & Marketing, who you also define, execute and track sales initiative and activities with. Furthermore, you: •Focus on agreed target customer’s applications and target markets together with Account and Distributor Managers •Support and provide input to Sales & Marketing on technical and commercial aspects to create optimal customer proposals on hydraulic motors •Support the implementation of Work Functions’ long-term strategies and initiatives •Define and execute pricing strategies to ensure profitable growth Engineer with commercial experience and strong drive •You hold a Master’s degree in Engineering – preferably Mechanical •You have knowledge of hydraulics and of the mobile market (Off-Road applications) •You hold at least 4 years of experience in a commercial and technical environment with customer contact •You have experience working in a global matrix organization •You speak and write excellent English You are focused on delivering results and all activities and analyses you do are performed with an eye on sales, profitability and continued growth. Your strong and outgoing personality is seen as you drive and lead meetings with your colleagues or customers, just as you use your technical expertise to create the shared knowledge needed to succeed.
