Detailed Description Grow the business through enhancement of markets and customers FLSmidth Customer Services is organized in market teams, and you and your colleagues in the team will have one major and overriding objective: To enhance our business performance through excellent customer service and consultancy. You establish the customer relations and use your considerable technical, industry and customer know-how to improve our financial metrics and optimize the customer’s operation. As such, you have the strategic and commercial business development responsibility, and in brief, you: · Investigate and analyse the customer and market trends · Identify potential market and project prospects · Implement relevant sales strategies · Conduct value-based solution selling · Qualify and manage your sales pipeline · Oversee that the operational sales execution is performed as planned You will be measured by your ability to manage and drive your sales pipeline and to achieve the success factors and ambitious targets agreed upon. Look forward to approximately 100-120 travel days in an innovative, global and fast-paced atmosphere. We are currently looking for one Area Sales Managers for the South East Asian region to be based out of Copenhagen. Job Requirements Commercial and technical profile with sales expertise You have a solid sales personality with considerable international sales experience (+5 years) within the Cement industry with thorough knowledge of FLSmidth equipment and cement-making processes. Besides a business degree at minimum Bachelor’s level, you can display a technical Academy Profession degree (AP) or a comparable combination of a theoretical education and practical experience. Moreover, you are very comfortable manoeuvring in an international and multi-cultural setting and know how to behave between geographical, cultural and social diversities. This calls for your personal integrity, influence and cultural interpretation. Working in a market that mirrors immense growth prospects challenges and fascinates you, and you use your energy and great ideas to generate ambitious strategies for even more growth. You implement activities with a positive attitude and work persistently to close the contracts and achieve the targets. Besides English proficiency, it will be an advantage if you master relevant South East Asian language.
